AIAA Guidance, Navigation and Control Conference in Minneapolis, USA

Theemployees of Space Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory once more participated in the  yearly ‘Guidance, Navigation and Control Conference’ organized by American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. This time it was held between 13th and 16th August in Minneapolis, MN. At the conference Karol Seweryn presented a paper entitled ‘Manipulator Mounted on a Satellite versus Manipulator Mounted on UAV Helicopter – Comparative Study.’ Described in this paper were the results of work performed during the project ‘Testing space robots on the autonomous helicopter’ (executed in cooperation with Department of Robotics and Mechatronics AGH University of Science and Technology). During the conference Mr. Seweryn also served as chairman of two sessions: ‘Sensing Systems in Aerospace Robotics’ and ‘Motion Planning in Aerospace Robotics.’
